It was a beautiful night for lacrosse as the Warriors welcomed the Yough Cougars to the field. Aquino won the first draw of the night and took it down the field to get the Warriors on the score board. Ayla Moffa had the second goal of the night off of a free position shot which marked her 100th career point. A. Bosack, Marissa Botti and Abby Baughman all added to the point total leaving the Warriors 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors defense kept the Cougars to a shut out in the first half with a score of 12-0. Defenders, Maura Spadone and Mary Brobst, scored in the third quarter along with attackers, Avery Bosack, Georgia Vislocky, and Megan Kamzalow. The Hagan sisters did a goalie swap in the fourth quarter so freshman goaltender, Sidney Hagan, could get her feet wet in a varsity game. Both Hagan sisters did a solid job defending the cage. The final players to put a goal in the net were Madi Gavrish, Mia Prosdocimo, and first varsity goals for Mia Williams, and Gianna Escobar leaving the final score 16-6. The Warriors take on Chartiers Valley Friday night for an away game.
