The Warriors christened their brand new scoreboard with a 34-10 victory in a non-conference game over Plum on Homecoming night. Tasso Whipple, who was named Homecoming King before the game, scored three touchdowns and ran for 163 yards to lead the Warriors to victory. After fumbling the opening kickoff, Plum drove downfield and took the lead on an Olivia Bigger 25 yard field goal. PT responded with Whipple running 5 yards for the go ahead score. Senior Alexis Brown kicked her first career extra point. Then, Jack Weishaar caught a 46 yard pass from Jonny Lovre to give the Warriors a 14-3 lead. Whipple then ran for long touchdowns of 56 and 68 yards. Plum's Nicholas Odom scored on a 51 yard run give Plum their only touchdown of the night. Derek Carr scored on an 11 yard run in the fourth to close out scoring in the game.

Prior to the game, Jodie Polk was honored to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her becoming the first female to score a point in WPIAL football history. She was presented a gift from the PTSD by Alexis Brown and Plum's Olivia Bigger, who would both go on to score points in the game.

Next week the Warriors travel to Gateway to resume conference play. Kickoff is at 7pm from Antimarino Stadium.
