Warriors Lose: 37.00 - 62.00
Kiski handled Penn Trafford on Friday night by a score of 62-37. Kiski dominated all aspects of the game from the tip. Penn Trafford was lead by Tyler Freas with 10 points. Isaiah Gongalez lead all scorers with 23 for Kiski while Noah Thimons had 16. Penn Trafford will find out on Monday who they will play in the WPIAL playoffs. The Warriors finished their regular season 11-11 overall an d 5-5 in sectin play.

Penn Trafford won on the road at Gatewary by a score of 54-52. Senior Ian Temple scored on a rim drive and assist from Sophomore Zach Feldman to seal the win with 8 seconds remaining. Senior Tyler Freas lead the Warriors with 14 while Temple connected on 11 including the game winner. Feldman and junior Brayden Stone both had 3 assists while Freas snatched 7 rebounds. The Warriors improve to 9-10 overall and 3-4 in section play.

Penn Trafford lost a hard fought game on the road at Franklin Regional on Friday in OT by a final score of 63-58. Senior Tyler Freas had 13 points to lead the Warriors while Juniors Evan Gross and Brayden Stone chipped in with 11 and 10 points. Franklin Regional was lead by senior Cooper Rankin with 26 and Connor Crossey with 11. Tyler Freas also had 6 rebounds for the Warriors and Junior Brayden Stone had 5 assists. Penn Trafford falls to 8-10 overall and 2-4 in section play. They travel to Gateway High School on Tuesday to take on the Gators.

Penn Trafford fell on the road Tuesday night to the North Hills Indians by the score of 78-72. Penn Trafford was lead in scoring by senior Tyler Freas with 27, Junior Guard Evan Gross with 10, while Senior Ian Temple and Sophomore Zach Feldman both contributed 9. The Warriors were lead in assists and rebounds by Zach Feldman with 5 dimes and 7 rebounds. Senior Tyler Freas had 6 steals. The Warriors fall to 8-9 overall as they head into their last 5 regular season section games. They travel to highly touted Franklin Regional on Friday night to take on the Panthers.

Pittsburgh Central Catholic defeated Penn Trafford Saturday afternoon by a clip of 61-38. Penn Trafford was lead in scoring with Junior Evan Gross with 8 points. Senior Tyler Freas had 8 rebounds and Sophomore Tyler Boss dished out 4 assists. PCC had a balanced scoring attack with Alex Pitcher dropping 13 while Enzo Khalil and Bradley Gompers each chipped in with 12. The Warriors drop to 8-8 overall and return to action on Tuesday as they travel to North Hills to take on the Indians in their last non-section match up of the year.

Kiski Area defeated Penn Trafford on Wednesday night by a score of 39-36. Penn Trafford was lead in scoring by Tyler Freas with 18 and Evan Gross with 12. Kiski Area was lead in scoring by Isaiah Gonzalez and Colin Keller with 11 points apiece. Penn Trafford falls to 8-7 overall and 2-3 in the section. The Warriors take the road now for 4 consecutive games. Next up is a battle at Pittsburgh Central Catholic on Saturday. Game times are 12:00 JV and 1:30 Varsity start times.

Penn Trafford defeated Latrobe on the road Friday night by a score of 83-56. The Warriors placed 4 players in double digit scoring on the night. Senior Ian Temple lead the way with 19 points, Senior Tyler Freas and Junior Evan Gross both netted 16, and senior Carment Metcalfe had 12. Junior Brayden Stone dished out 6 assists on the evening and had 4 steals. Latrobe was lead in scoring by Max Butler with 25, John Wetzell with 13, and Jatawn Williams with 12. Penn Trafford improved to 8-6 overall and 2-2 in section play.

Penn Trafford defeated McKeesport on Tuesday night on the road by a final score of 64-55. Three players scored in double digits for the Warriors. Tyler Freas dropped 23, Camen Metcalfe and Ian Temple both had 10 points. Junior Evan Gross chipped in with 9 points. Leading the way in the assists category were Junior Brayden Stone with 6, Sophomore Zach Felman with 4, and Sophomore Tyler Boss with 3. Zach Feldman and Tyler Feas both had 6 rebounds. The Warriors improve to 7-6 overall and 1-2 in section play. Penn Trafford will head to Latrobe on Friday night for a 6:00 JV and 7:30 Varsity contest.

Franklin Regional upended Penn Trafford in their first section game on Tuesday night by a score of 69-51. The Panthers were lead by Cooper Rankin with 22, Cam Rowell with 19 and Masten and Hutchinson both had 11 points. Tyler Freas lead Penn Trafford with 20 points. The Warriors return to action at home this Friday as they take on the Gators from Gateway.

Warriors Win: 53.00 - 41.00
Penn Trafford defeated Seneca Valley on Thursday night by a score of 53-41. Tyler Freas lead the way with 15 while Carmen Metcalfe added 9. The Warriors got a nice lift off the bench by Juniors Tyler Anthony, Evan Gross, and Jack Weishaar. Anthony and Gross both gave a nice offensive boost both hitting 2 3-pointers while Weishaar played tremendous defense and created havoc with his on the ball defense. The Warriors will travel to Elkins WV for a game on Dec. 29th before starting section play v/s Franklin Regional on Jan. 2nd.

Mt. Lebanon locked down on Penn Trafford on Tuesday night and defeated the Warriors 58-29. Mt. Lebanon used their physicality their dominance on the offensive glass, and their sharp shooting in an impressive performance. Tyler Freas had 8 points for the Warriors. The Warriors are now 4-4 and will finish up their schedule before the winter break with a home game on Thursday against Seneca Valley.

Penn Trafford fell to Penn Hills on Monday night by a score of 55-57. Penn Hills scored with 13 seconds on the clock to take the lead and Penn Trafford's attempt to answer fell short in the final seconds. Tyler Freas had 15, Carmen Metcalfe had 12 points and 9 rebounds, and Zach Feldman chipped in with 12 as well. The Warriors take the court again tonight as they travel to Mt. Lebanon for a JV/Varsity contest.

Penn Trafford fell to Peters Township on Friday night at AHN Arena at Peters Township by a score of of 72-66. Senior Tyler Freas lead all scorers with 24 points for Penn Trafford. Senior Ian Temple had 8 points and 8 rebounds for the Warriors. Sophomore Zach Feldman also played an outstanding game netting 13 points which included a perfect 6/6 from the field. Senior Jason Sabol and Junior Brayden Stone both had 3 assists. Penn Trafford has a bush week as they host Penn Hills on Monday, travel to Mt. Lebanon on Tuesday and finish up the week on Thursday with a home contest v/s Seneca Valley.

Penn Trafford won on Monday night v/s Woodland Hills by a final score of 70-49. Penn Trafford was lead in scoring once again by Seniors Tyler Freas and Jason Sabol. Freas netted 6 three pointers on his way to a game high 27 points and Sabol contributed 11 points. Senior Ian Temple had 8 points and played a solid defensive game for the Warriors. Scoop Smith lead Woodland Hills with 23 points. Penn Trafford travels to Peter Township this Friday for a non-conference battle. Game times are 5:30 for JV and 7:00 for Varsity.

Sabol dropped 4 three pointers and Feas netted 3. Dante DeRubbo lead Trinity with a game high 20 points. Senior Carmen Metcalfe had 6 rebounds and Junior Brayden Stone had 4 assists. The Warriors return home on Monday as they host Woodland Hills.

Penn Trafford outlasted Hempfield on Saturday afternoon in the Hempfield Tip-Off Tournament by a score of 72-70 in 2 overtimes. Tyler Freas once again lead the way for Penn Trafford with 22 points including the game winning lay-up with 3.5 seconds left in the second overtime. Joining Tyler in double figure scoring was Senior Carmen Metcalfe with 16 points, Junior Brayden Stone with 11 and Sophomore Tyler Boss with 10. Drew Gordon lead Hempfield with 20 points and Danny Husentis had 18. Metcalfe also had 8 rebounds while Tyler Boss dished out 4 assists to lead the Warriors. Penn Trafford improved to 1-1 on the season and will travel to Norwin on Tuesday for a doubleheader boys and girls contest.

Penn-Trafford fell to Greensburg Central Catholic on Friday at the Hempfield Tip-Off by a score of 72-63 in double overtime. Senior Tyler Freas dropped in 21 points to lead the Warriors. Seniors Ian Temple and Jason Sabol had 16 and 12 points in support of the cause. Freas also had 9 steals and 6 assists. The Warriors return to action Saturday vs Hempfield for a 3:00 tip.
