The Lady Warriors combined for two hits, but scored three runs to beat Bethel Park, 3-2. Lorynn Sepe (pictured, Tribune Review) hit a solo blast to right center and Cam Ponko delivered an RBI double to left center to help the Lady Warriors defeat the Black Hawks.
The defense was stout, allowing just two runs. Kylie Anthony shined on shortstop by making multiple pivotal plays throughout the game. The Black Hawks left seven runners on base.
Allyson Paulone pitched a complete game allowing just five hits, while striking out three.
The Lady Warriors are scheduled to play 5th seeded Shaler on Wednesday, weather permitting. The location of the game is to be determined.
