The Lady Warriors opened up section play today with an impressive 11 - 3 win over the returning section Champ, Armstrong Riverhawks.
Allison Pokrant ignited the Lady Warrior offense when she blasted a missile over the centerfield fence on her first varsity at-bat. Pokrant collected two hits and two RBI's on the day.
In all, the Lady Warriors collected 15 hits on the day. Lorryn Sepe led the way with three hits and three RBI's. Rilie Moors, Mack Keenan, Erin Drotos, and G. Youngo all added two hits on the day. Ella Mains and Taylor Noel collected pinch hits for the Lady Warriors.
Allyson Paulone picked up her third win of the season, giving up 5 hits and striking out 4 along the way.
The Lady Warriors are slated to play the Franklin Regional Panthers at home right after that eclipse on Monday evening at 6:00 PM. We hope to see you there!
