The tale of the tape:

The match started at 107 lbs, where the Warriors forfeited to Beau Fennick of Franklin Regional to give the Panthers a 6-0 head start to the dual.

At 114 lbs, Dylan Barrett continues gaining momentum as the postseason lingers. Barrett pushed a high pace, staying in position, with heavy hands en route to a 19-4 technical fall in the final seconds of the second period over Titus Colangelo.

At 121 lbs, Luke Desantis followed the same intensity. Putting a statement on his match with crisp leg attacks, lots of movement on his feet, and showing his conditioning. He ended his match with a 19-4 technical fall just over halfway through the second period over Keller Maryott.

At 127 lbs, Jake Lang makes strides in his match. With hard nosed handfighting, and a strong start to a rematch from the county tournament, Jake Lang scored the first takedown. Although not reflected by the score, Lang showed incredible fight and lost razor thin positions in a 18-3 technical fall loss to Mikey Ruane.

At 133 lbs, Logan Ventura continues to march forward and walk his opponent down. After a hard fought first period, Ventura got caught after a leg attack attempt leading to a 15-0 Technical Fall Loss to Chase Smith.

At 139 lbs, Gino Pecora grows into himself. The freshman battled hard and threw everything he could at his opponent, showing promise in on leg attacks, and gritty top wrestling. Despite his effort, Pecora lost by Fall to Nico Sarnic with seconds remaining in the match.

At 145 lbs, Sidney Hand pushed the pace on his opponent. Although falling in unideal positions, Hand battled through every position. With some adjustments, Hand looks to change the script in the future of this matchup that ended in a 15-0 loss to Max Firestine.

At 152 lbs, Dylan Clayton found himself in a rematch of the County Tournament Consolation Semifinals. Early in the match, Clayton caught his opponent in a cradle that was fought off and continues to show continual growth in his wrestling style. After a hard fought battle, Clayton lost a 13-1 Major Decision to Luke Ankney.

At 160lbs, Cael Ott also found himself in a rematch from the County Tournament. Fighting off a majority of his opponent’s top wrestling, Ott put some fireworks at the end of the match being inches away from catching a cradle with short time on the clock. Despite his efforts, he dropped a 7-0 decision to Ethan Cartwright.

At 172 lbs, Logan Matrisch put a stamp on his match just 31 seconds into the first period. Matrisch builds his leg attacks through the season to become a high paced, high scoring wrestler. After two well set up leg attacks, Matrisch locked up a cradle to win by Fall over Kaydon Ferrell.

At 189 lbs, Brayden Desantis toed the line for the Warriors. Showing heart and continual improvement in every match he wrestles, Desantis is a key player on the Warriors’ roster. He lost by fall to Henry Patts.

At 215 lbs, Benjamin Grabowski shows to be a high flying wrestler, throwing caution to the wind. After a highly contested scramble resulting in no score, Grabowski was able to come out on top of the next exchange, resulting in his opponent landing on his back. Grabowski won by fall over John Montgomery.

At 285 lbs, Aiden Toth is on his own rise to putting his wrestling style together, showing glimpses of where his potential will lead him with hard handfighting, and good foot movement. After being down 4-0 in the third period, Toth picked up the pace and threw a flurry of attempts at his opponent. Toth lost 7-0 to Elishua Daugherty.
