Warriors News · March 16, 2020 UPDATE From Dr. Harris

Dear Parents and Staff:

The administrative team of PTSD has been working closely with contacts from the State as we are preparing our action plan going forward. As of now, we are planning for ten days out of school, but that may be extended as news develops and unfolds. We are currently waiting for information regarding approval from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for implementing our on-line learning / flexible instructional days.

No instruction will be provided until the district receives further directives.  Any assignments already given by teachers, should be put on hold. Chromebooks and workbooks were sent home with your child to be proactive and prepared, but not required at the moment. We have not yet made any decisions about the end of the 3rd quarter and grades will not be finalized until further notice.

We have also received many questions regarding what dates will be for events that have been postponed. At this point, we are not releasing any dates until we are back in school.

Reminder:  All facilities will continue to be closed to the community until further notice.

I want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding while we work through this process.

Dr. Matthew Harris

Superintendent
